Hindman Auctions, one of the nation's leading and fastest growing fine art auction houses, is looking to add a full-time Manager, Marketing and Creative Operations in the Chicago office. This position supports achievement of Hindman growth plans by developing and implementing exceptional marketing and communications initiatives for the company; and provides leadership and strategic direction for marketing and communications team.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Help to design, implement and facilitate marketing, communications and public relations plans
  • Support and facilitate development and implementation of business and marketing strategy and plan
  • Translate business objectives and strategies to develop and implement brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business growth
  • Plan, administer and track the company's Marketing Operations budget
  • Support development of regional office budgets
  • Plan, book and schedule integrated advertising campaigns for print, display and sponsorships across specialist departments and regional offices
  • Measure success of advertising campaigns for budget and future planning and identify new advertising opportunities
  • Oversee auction production schedules and ensure that key deadlines are met by both marketing team and other internal teams / consignment department
  • Manage day-to-day activity with respect to content and advertising approvals, budget approvals, deadline extensions, PR, list building and other marketing initiatives as they pertain to budgets, schedules and strategic objectives
  • Develop promotional materials including marketing collateral, direct mail campaigns, advertising and webpage templates and corresponding print/digital copies, administering creative direction for both copy and design

 

 Successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Design
  • 5+ years of proven experience at a senior level managing and developing proactive marketing and communications campaigns
  • Analytical problem-solver with experience managing issues for global brand
  • Successful track record of personnel and project management
  • Knowledge of media landscape and successful approaches to advertising across various mediums, both traditional and new
  • Experience working with creative teams with a focus on branding best-practices
  • Expertise in luxury goods and/or services marketing a plus
